VOLUNTARY SYSTEM OF ACCOUNTABILITY
The University of Louisiana System participates in a national higher education initiative for transparency and accountability. This Voluntary System of Accountability (VSA) includes a College Portrait ; an online template that showcases campus information for students and parents to make informed decisions when researching potential universities to attend. The University of Louisiana System is committed to improving access and success to higher education for all students. On February 22, 2007, it hosted a statewide conference with prominent national speakers such as Kati Haycock from The Education Trust, Jan Somerville from the National Association of System Heads, Carol Twigg from the National Center for Academic Transformation, and George Mehaffy from the American Association of State Colleges and Universities.
