Craig Lee is the Director of the AT&T Foundry located in Plano, TX. The AT&T Foundry fosters “The Art of the Possible” in Internet of Things and Industry Solutions innovation. Prior to his current position, Lee has served as Director of Technical Resources and Solutioning within the AT&T IoT Center of Excellence, responsible for the architecting, development and deployment of customers IoT solutions.
Additionally, Lee has served in several previous IoT focused leadership positions at AT&T spanning more than 18 years.
Previous to AT&T, Mr. Lee served in leadership positions at Motorola, Racal, and Georgia Tech Research Institute in the areas of business development, RF & electronic design engineering, and pure research.
Mr. Lee has been awarded over a dozen US patents and is a Senior Member of IEEE.
A native of Alaska, Mr. Lee earned a BSEE from Georgia Institute of Technology, a MBA from Nova Southeastern University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. from University of Texas at Dallas in Telecommunications Engineering.
Lee will discuss how AT&T innovates by highlighting three pillars: Foundry, Outreach, and The Innovation Pipeline (TIP). He will emphasize the strategic role that universities play in preparing the workforce of the future and how AT&T works to attract the best talent.
