A Message from Search Committee Chair Sandra K. Woodley:

Last week, the committee charged with selecting a new Grambling State University president met in Baton Rouge and approved the updated advertisement and timeline.  That detailed scheduled is included below.

I am also happy to report that we have engaged the services of international search firm, The Hollins Group, to assist in securing the best president for Grambling State. 

Founded in 1988, The Hollins Group has conducted over 600 executive level searches.  Most recently, they assisted in the placement of a new chancellor for Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina and the NAACP’s new President and CEO Cornell Brooks.  Lawrence Hollins, President of The Hollins Group, is heading up the team of search consultants for Grambling State University.

The purpose of a search firm is to assist the committee by recruiting qualified candidates and processing all applications.  With a search firm now in place, advertisements will begin running nationally in the coming months. 

We are excited to move forward with this very important presidential search, and we welcome your continued engagement and support!
