Grambling State University

Grambling State University combines the academic strengths of a major university with the benefits of a small college, fostering an environment where students develop into trailblazers, thought leaders, and innovators of the next generation.

As one of the country’s top producers of African American graduates in Computer Information Science, we take pride in preparing scholars that are unafraid to forge new paths and thrive beyond barriers.

From the legacy of legendary college football coach Eddie Robinson, Sr., whose tenure is memorialized in a campus museum, the World Famed Tiger Marching Band, impactful research, and championship athletics, the world has become aware of who we are. It is the continuance of our mission to become the premier HBCU that causes us to strive even further. For more than 120 years, our undaunted vision has been the pillar of institutional longevity. We are amazed by how far we've come and inspired by the promise that lies within what we can achieve in the future. We understand our why and know that it lies within each brilliant mind that walks our campus.
