The search for a President for Northwestern State University is in full swing, and I would like to share with you a few updates since the May 7th committee meeting and public forum were held on campus.
- Advertisements have been placed in national publications with a preferred application date of Aug. 1st.
- We have two new committee members: UL System Board Member Dr. Kelly Faircloth of Pineville and new UL System Student Board Member Adam Lefort of Thibodaux. Click here for a complete list of the 15-member committee.
- We have engaged the services of search firm, R.H. Perry and Associates, who are processing all applications and actively recruiting qualified candidates.
The next meeting will be held in Baton Rouge on Aug. 21st, when the committee will review applications and select semi-finalists to interview on campus. All search committee meetings are open to the public, and I encourage you to participate and provide feedback to the committee throughout this process.
