2023 FOR OUR FUTURE CONFERENCE

The 2023 For Our Future Conference is poised to be the largest in our history. Join us March 26 – 28 in McNeese State University’s backyard at the beautiful Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Lake Charles.

Now is an ideal time to reset, focus, and ground ourselves firmly in our mission to create the most educated generation in Louisiana’s history. The 2023 For Our Future Conference will assemble a wide range of faculty and staff to collaborate and develop strategies centered on developing graduates at scale who are prepared for life success, advancing scholarship in conventional and innovative ways, and advocating our purpose against a myopic counter narrative.

Our call for proposals is open, and we are seeking contributors in this year’s conference tracks—Engage, Instruct, and Innovate. We will continue our tradition of honoring excellence throughout our member institutions with our annual awards. Nominations are now open for the outstanding faculty member award, the outstanding staff member award, and our champion of diversity and inclusion. Nominations close Jan. 13.

All information about the conference including links to the call for proposals and award nominations can be found at ulsystem.edu/conference.

Join the 2022 Content Experts for their last webinar of the year Tuesday, December 13 at 10 a.m. to explore the concept of resilience and the role that personal values can play in refocusing and finding motivation to move into 2023 refreshed and ready to re-engage with our communities.
