 New ULS Student Board Member Sworn In – Aug 23, 2002

Jessica Clarke, president of the Student Government Association at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, was sworn in Friday as the new student member of the Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System (ULS). Clarke was chosen by her fellow UL-System SGA presidents to represent them on the Board of Supervisors. Clarke is a UL-Lafayette senior, majoring in marketing. While at UL-Lafayette, Jessica has played softball for the Lady Cajuns, served on the SGA since 2000, and has served on the executive council for Kappa Delta Sorority. She also serves as president of three UL-Lafayette organizations: Order of Omega (Greek honor society), Mu Kappa Tau (marketing honor fraternity) and Ragin’ Peppers (football hostesses). Clarke is a 1999 graduate of Lafayette High School.
