GRAMBLING PRESIDENTIAL SEARCH UPDATE

The Grambling State University Presidential Search Committee met and  approved a revised tentative timeline.  The original timeline had to be extended due to the time required to engage a search firm with HBCU experience.  The revised timeline calls for a February 13, 2015, preferred application date, March interviews on campus, and new president selection by the Board in April. International search firm, The Hollins Group, has been selected to assist the search by recruiting qualified applicants and processing all applications.  Additionally during the meeting, clarification was provided that it is an open search and Board Rules governing presidential searches do not preclude anyone from applying.
