Statement by University of Louisiana System President Sandra Woodley Regarding Grambling State University President Frank Pogue’s Retirement

Today, Grambling State University President Frank G. Pogue announced he will retire by June 30, 2014.  Below is a statement by University of Louisiana System President Sandra Woodley.

“On behalf of the Board of Supervisors, I would like to express how thankful we are to Dr. Frank Pogue for devoting his time and energy to Grambling State University over these past five difficult years. This has not been an easy job, and his willingness to delay retirement in order to serve Grambling demonstrates how much he cares about this very important work.  With gratitude, we wish him well as he embarks on a well-deserved retirement after a distinguished career in higher education.”
